Anti-Piracy Policy

At Layoutin, we are committed to protecting the intellectual property of our template creators and ensuring fair use of our platform. Our Anti-Piracy Policy is designed to be clear, fair, and easy to understand.

1. License Verification System

To use a template from Layoutin on a live store, you must have an active license. Each license is tied to a specific Scalev store. To verify your license and activate a template, you are required to register the following information in your Layoutin dashboard:

• Your Scalev Username
• The email address associated with your Scalev account
• The primary domain of your Scalev store (e.g., your-store.scalev.com or your-custom-domain.com)

2. One Template, One Domain

A standard license permits the use of one template on a single registered Scalev domain. If you wish to use the same template on multiple stores, you must purchase a separate license for each store.

3. Detection of Unauthorized Use

Our system periodically checks to ensure that templates are being used on the domain registered to their license. If we detect a template being used on a domain that is not registered and verified in the corresponding Layoutin account, it will be flagged as a violation of our policy.

4. Consequences of Violation

If unauthorized use is detected:

• The license status in your dashboard will change to "Not Registered ❌".
• Some or all of the template's functionality may be disabled on the unauthorized domain.
• You will receive a notification of the violation and instructions on how to resolve the issue.
• Repeated violations may result in the suspension of your Layoutin account.
